Frans &Associates has a new business model which is designed for entrepreneurs and startups looking for an alternative to the big law firms. Here’s how we are different:

We only have senior attorneys who are responsible for your project. Each member of our team has vast legal experience. .Your project will be assigned to an experienced attorney who will give you the hands-on, personal attention that you’re looking for. This senior attorney will be your contact person and will be the one supervising the work eventually done by junior attorneys and paralegals.
We only do one thing. Unlike the big law firms (which have many different departments and specialties), we are laser-focused on one thing: providing corporate legal services and other related to entrepreneurs and their companies. Accordingly, we know how to get corporate projects done quickly and efficiently because that’s what we do.
We are lean by design. We have stripped-out the huge overhead costs of the big law firms (such as expensive office space, large support staffs and highly-paid young lawyers) and are passing the savings on to our clients. We understand that entrepreneurs and startups are tired of paying their lawyers for needless overhead and overstaffed projects.

ROBERT FRANS

Is the founder and CEO of Frans & Associates, Counselors at Law. Robert is a graduate of the University of Leiden in The Netherlands.

Robert Frans has more than 20 years of broad experience in practicing law, including working as a deputy Civil Law Notary at Civil Law Notary firms in Curacao.

After working many years as a partner in a few law partnerships Robert launched Frans & Associates in 2012.

The law firm is a boutique law firm specialized in entrepreneur legal matters.

Robert is a recognized expert in corporate law and general entrepreneur legal matters, serving local and international clients, from startups mid size companies to multinational companies.

Robert and his longtime companion have a daughter and in his free time Robert enjoys reading, travelling, biking and running and he also involved in charity work through service clubs.

DIONNE HOWELL

Is a legal assistant who has joined the team of firms & Frans and Associates, Counselors at Law in April 2015. After some relevant work experience in The Netherlands, Dionne returned a few years ago back to Curacao and has found her passion for Legal work at Frans & Associates. As Legal Assistant, Dionne knows very well the importance of her function within the organization. Dionne is a very capable, zealous and client friendly individual and is surely an added value to the firms operation.

Dionne is a mother to two children, a son and a daughter, and in her free time she enjoys watching movies, swimming, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
